Checkpoint!

For a few months Anniversary has not been a priority to me. I have been stuck at "Two Betrayals" after the second plasma generator. I finally got through the dog fight in banshees and to a checkpoint. Now to my chagrin I realize that this is only on Heroic. Since the last time I even put Anniversary into the machine I have defeated 3 and Reach on Legendary. Oh well. A slackers work is never done.

Reach: 3 games - 3 medals. This time it was the Firefight Vehicular I got. And always happy to get that shiny blue Invincible.

More Gold

Reach: now One Shot is up to gold as well. Very happy with that.

New Goodis

Reach: Finally got Standard Issue up to Silver and I have now purchased all Armor from the Armory. Only the expensive Armor Effects to go. And I want them before I start 4.

Five Days, Twenty Hours, Six Minutes

Just over 140 hours to go, over ten years behind me, and I am just now sitting down to put fingers to keys.

In less than 140 hours I will be standing out there in the rain and the cold, waiting for the fateful stroke of midnight and the door to open once more. It excites me. But it goads me to know end knowing that three people from Nevada to New York will be let in before me. What will those few hours mean for me.

If this means nothing to you at all, then just go away.

But dear gods, if you are reading this, go away and find a life. More important, why are you reading what I have to say when you should be earning your way yourself. Turn on the box, pick up the controller, and just shoot someone.

140 hours, one minute, some odd seconds. Less the hour that will be cut out for daylight savings.

And then I will rush home with my new copy of Halo 4 from Gamestop and I won't sleep for a week.
