Challenges VS Winning

I cannot recall if I posted this before. Knowing how I am, hunting down Challenges on Reach an 4, I wonder if the pursuit of Challenges leads some people to do things other than win? Do players do things other than what they are best at for a Challenge and thus not win a game? This applies to myself as well. If the Challenge were to use a Battle Rifle over a DMR or a Storm Rifle over an Assault Rifle I do not know if I would be contributing to a team victory.

2: Today my boy and I beat Halo 2 in about 6 hours. It was on Normal, but it was good to go through it all again.

1: Today my boy and I beat classic Halo on Normal. We had us a damn good time, and the sprint down the spine of the Autumn was as nerve wracking as ever. We instantly switched over to Halo 2.

4: War Games Daily Challenge - Win 2 games of Capture the Flag. Complete. Good 5k for it, too. Won 2/3, good enough for a nights work. I even made a few scores myself. Still love SWAT more, but this is not a bad game. As I said before, my willingness to die for my team comes in handy here.
